Altadena Golf Course

Time to tee off! The location is the 9-hole Altadena Golf Course. It's no Pebble Beach, but has a great backdrop of the San Gabriel Mountains...

I played with my cousins Bernard and Pat. They're relatively new to the game but their love of golf has rejuvenated me to play and practice more. Here's Bern and his Driver of choice...

My driver of choice is the Cleveland Halo. It's probably the best driver I've had in 14 years of playing. What a cheap plug for Cleveland Golf! Here's Pat showing his mad bunker skills....

My highlight of the day was definitely the par 3 4th Hole. The yardage on my Bushnell laser range finder(another cheap plug) read 170 yds. Right away I knew it was a full 6-iron for me. As soon as I hit it, I knew it was pure. Out came the words 'Get in the hole' as the ball was in midflight. Unfortunately it didn't go in the hole but I did have a kick-in 6 incher for a birdie! I had to capture the moment. You can see the divot mark 4 feet short of the hole...

We teed off late in the day, so it set up for a perfect view hitting off the final hole with the sunset hitting the mountains...

Afterwards, we topped off a great day of golf with some pastrami in Pasadena...

...Good Times!
