A friend of mine recently invited me to shoot her friend's band at the Key Club in Hollywood. The band is Judge Jackson and they've been together since 1994. They play good hard rock music and being so close to the stage was quite the experience. It was a heart-thumping, adreline pumping and an ear-popping night, but I had a blast. Recently, I had the opportunity to watch and photograph a show by Lindsey Harper at the Red White & Bluezz Jazz Club in Pasadena. I've been wanting to shoot concerts but didn't know how to go about it doing it. So I ran across this website listing local southern california artists and bands ranging from country to hip hop and every genre in between. So I browsed through each one, checked out each artist's site and see if they had a show coming up. I came across Lindsey Harper's website and loved her music, and she happened to had a show coming up in Pasadena. I emailed her asking if I could've shoot her show and I was surprised when she replied back and said yes. My wife and I had a great time watching her perform.
